My sister texted me the other day and asked me to recommend a work out that she could do at home without buying any special equipment. I immediately suggested my go-to workout, running, and I’m pretty sure I could hear her laughing from halfway across the country! So I spent a few days searching and sweating to come up with my favorite at-home workouts for you!
With a huge variety of workouts, programs, and challenges (including Assassin’s Creed and Batman themed challenges), there is bound to be something here that you’ll enjoy. They also provide tips on how to work out to avoid injury and how to recover if you overdo it. For a bonus, they have some great tips for healthy eating and even have some meal plans. You can create an account to save your workouts and keep track of where you are in reaching Batman level abs! “The Princess” is a great example of one of their workouts that you can easily complete at home without any special equipment. It will leave you hurting in the best way possible!
Whatever kind of workout you’re in the mood for, chances are you can find it on POPSUGAR Fitness’s YouTube channel. With hundreds of videos, there is bound to be something for everyone here! Videos are organized in playlists to help you find exactly what you want from arms to 5-minute workouts to CrossFit.
My favorite right now is their Game of Throne finale workout. You don’t need any special equipment (although a sword would make you look awesome), but you will need a friend. Make sure you watch all the way to the end of the video for the move I definitely hope to be doing on Sunday night!
I’m a big fan of not having to decide what to do for my workout every day. Luckily, Cassey Ho has done that for you several times over! Whether you want to focus on your abs for a month, give pilates a try for the first time, or work up a good sweat and get ripped, there is a plan waiting for you! Even better, a new workout calendar comes out every month so you will never get bored. Even betterer, all of the workouts are on the Blogilates YouTube channel so you can go back to a favorite or mix it up whenever you feel like it!
I love their Apartment Friendly workout series! It works great in a small space and doesn’t annoy the neighbors! And with five workouts in the series at only 10-15 minutes each, there’s no excuse for not squeezing this into your week!
Remember how I hate working out? That has never applied to yoga. If you’re thinking “That’s because it’s not really a workout” you haven’t met Adriene! While she does have plenty of videos to help you focus and meditate, she will also kick your butt in others. Of all the yoga videos and studios I’ve tried (and trust me, there have been many), Adriene’s YouTube channel is one of my favorites. She also has a couple of 30(ish)-day yoga challenges to take away the work of deciding which awesome video to try next!
