So much to tell you….no clue where to start….
My second race of the year was last weekend! I had set a goal of finishing in under 44 minutes and crossed the line in 43 minutes and 24 seconds! It was a really icky day weather-wise and not the most attractive route I’ve run (unless warehouses get you all hot and bothered), but there was chocolate at registration and chocolate at the 2 mile mark and chocolate at the finish line, so I’ll probably run it again next year! Shout out to Rachel, Mara, and Laura who came out to run with me (and left me in the dust)!
What I’m Eating – Week 7
I’ve decided not to share what I’m eating this week. I wasn’t very impressed with any of the recipes and don’t want to tell you to make things that aren’t awesome. I can report that doing all my cooking on Sunday definitely made the week easier…although I ended up not being home a single night all week…and therefore didn’t eat many dinners at home…so there’s still room to improve there…
I’ve spent all day packing. That counts as my workout, right?
You won’t see my normal posts for the next week or two as I get moved and unpacked and organized and figure out which box my sanity ended up in. Stay tuned for new and improved meal idea posts once I find the kitchen!
